Happy Friday, hope its a Good one for you! Today I'd like to show you this little bit of eye candy from Dena Designs. Its called Tarika Gem from the Kumari Garden line. I love this print in every color it comes in, but this is one of my favs. So many pretty colors!
Look at this adorable dress from Palm Tree Princess. Wouldn't every little girl feel like a princess in something so pretty? I especially like the ric rac trim around the shoulder straps and hem line. Adorable!
Its also a great print for burp cloths. With all these pretty colors, you'll never see a stain. :) So what would you do with a yard of this great fabric? Tell me in the comments below for a chance to win it.

I would definitely make something quilty out of it. I saw a pattern for making a carrying case for your rulers. That sounds like a good idea for this fabric. Oh, and following your blog now too!

ReplyDeleteI might make a flowing skirt for my daughter out of it. It's hard to find appropriate length skirts for four year olds.

ReplyDeleteI follow you on facebook & have ordered from you on etsy. I LOVE the little dress. I would make one like it for my 2 1/2 yr-old granddaughter, but with yellow contrast & pink rick rack because pink & yellow are her favorite colors. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteCute dress - and the little girl is so cute, too! If I won, I would use the fabric towards a baby girl quilt. Thanks for the chance!

ReplyDeleteI am a lover of fabrics but when I get them in my hands I am so afraid to use them. I think I am just a hoarder but I would love a burp cloth

A fun quilted laptop bag was my first thought; it's so bright and fun.

I would make a pillowcase dress for my daughter, so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm having some issues with commenting, let's hope the 3rd time's the charm!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to sewing so can't always predict how far a yard will go, but I have dozens of ideas! Matching skirts for daughter and her dolly, hair scrunchies and hair bands, crayon roll(s), stuffed animal, custom bedding for dolly (dollies are spoiled in our house), little zipper pouches, and so much more! My biggest problem is settling on an idea. Thanks for reading my novel!
I would make a handbag & if I had a bit left over, I'd make a headband!

ReplyDeleteI would use it for a backdrop!

ReplyDeleteI would make a cloth diaper with it!
